Statement:
Sometimes what we collect buries us. Or it can also gather around us like a great pacific garbage patch, and we float. "What" and "it" can be corporeal or immaterial. I think about this when painting - I don't know if I'm ritualizing the behavior or illustrating it, perhaps both.
