Statement:
I am an artist-printer working in a variety of printmaking mediums, as well sculpture, arrangement and installation.
My current body of work combines printed material and ephemera of my emediate surroundings.
Printed matter and especially the multiple intrigue me for their ability to be distributed to broad audiences. The quotidian object, or any banal material one comes in contact with on a daily basis, is also intriguing to me for its powers to reach a range of people. The two are usually seen in tandem; everyday objects are usually printed on, prints become daily objects through their seriality.
In my installation arrangements, prints and found objects signal the viewer to put together histories and mythologies both personal and universal.
