Katharine Sikorski
Statement:
Kate attended the University of CA, Santa Barbara and the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa for a BA in Global Studies (political, economic, and social emphasis). After college she worked for Greenpeace on a ship in Alaska and in their warehouses, in both San Francisco and Maryland making props and assisting in logistics coordination. She will graduate with her MFA fall 2011 and is currently working with local Muslim women on a project and subsequent exhibition that will take place in Long Beach in 2012.
