BIOGRAPHY
Kelly Nye has exhibited her wearable sculptures at several group shows within the Southern California area. Ms. Nye has also exhibited her production jewelry at The Wexner Center for the Arts gallery store in Columbus, Ohio. She is the 2008 recipient of the Meehyang Fishkin Scholarship in the Metals Department at CSULB. She has been published in The Art of Jewelry : Paper Jewelry, 35 Creative Projects and The Art of Jewelry: Fiber, both by Marthe Le Van and is currently teacher interning under the direction of Susanna Speirs.
Kelly Nye was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1981. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio. She is currently studying for her Master's degree at California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis in metals.
