ARTIST STATEMENT

Where does a body end and where does it begin?

The body is not a vehicle that the mind manipulates,

but a complex system that is both an extension of the mind

through the nervous system and a zone that exists

between an internal subject and an external other.

Our skin is a threshold.

The amount that one allows through this barrier

correlates to the amount one can expand externally.
